Recipe by ACoupleCooks
With so many Christmas dinners, parties, and gifts, sometimes it's just really hard to think of the perfect thing to give or bring. That's when chocolate comes in. Dark chocolate is always a good idea!
I was listening in on the acouplecooks podcast last week, and was totally intrigued by their super-simple and delicious-sounding dark chocolate bark recipe. They made it in like five minutes flat. I mean, I need that. We all need a quick & easy recipe in our back-pocket for those last-minute dinner parties!
Also, there's something so much more satisfying about eating your own homemade chocolate bark rather than a bar of chocolate, even if it is beautifully packaged (ahem, Mast Brothers). The other great thing about this recipe is that you can essentially make it want you want it to be. You can throw in any number of ingredients to make your chocolate bark a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
I won't rewrite the recipe from acouplecooks, because you can simply go here to get it, but I will tell you that in my personal chocolate masterpiece, I mixed in just the mixed berries & chocolate. And then... here's the kicker... after pouring out the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper, I swirled in some of our Classic Almond Butter! Oh man, it was so good. You swirl in any of our almond butters for a divine, salty/sweet surprise in your homemade dark chocolate bark!
